Feeding Guidelines

Feed 1–3 tablespoons daily per hedgehog in a shallow dish. Adjust the amount as needed to maintain an appropriate body weight or during different life stages.

The diet may be supplemented with chopped vegetables and insects, with fruit offered as an occasional treat. Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.

Discard uneaten food and clean the feeding dish before each feeding.

When introducing Vita Prima for the first time, transition gradually over 10–14 days to help prevent digestive upset. Consult an exotic-animal veterinarian for specific nutritional recommendations for your hedgehog.
