Repashy SuperHorn is a high-calcium, vitamin-fortified hornworm gutload and culture diet specifically formulated for Manduca sexta (hornworm) larvae used as reptile feeders.

Designed to maximize the nutritional value of feeder hornworms, SuperHorn provides a nutritionally fortified alternative to traditional hornworm culture diets. The formula contains 3.5% minimum calcium along with vitamins, carotenoids, trace minerals and protein sources to improve the nutritional profile of hornworms before they are offered to reptiles.

SuperHorn is antibiotic-free and formulated without the formaldehyde sometimes found in research-oriented hornworm diets.

Directions

Mix 1 part powder with 2–2.5 parts water and stir until thoroughly blended.

Microwave Method: Microwave the mixture until it begins to boil. Remove and stir thoroughly.

Stovetop Method: Bring the water to a boil, remove from heat and stir in the powder.

Allow the mixture to cool in the container or immediately pour it into a storage container or mold. Let stand at room temperature until firm.

Once set, the finished gel can be cut into cubes, shredded or used as a whole slab.

Treat prepared gel as fresh food. Unused prepared gel can be stored vented in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Important: Do not use more than 3 parts water, as excessive condensation may occur when the diet is used in culture cups.

Vitamins: Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Calcium L-Ascorbyl-2-Monophosphate, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin, Beta Carotene, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B-12 Supplement and Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex.
