Repashy SuperFly is a premium instant formula designed for producing nutritious fruit fly cultures for reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and other insect-eating animals.

The formula is fortified with vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and carotenoids to help maximize the nutritional value of fruit flies when they are used as feeders. Easy to prepare and highly productive, SuperFly can make up to one fruit fly culture per dry ounce of medium.

Directions

For a typical 32 oz. deli-container culture:

Mix 3 tablespoons of SuperFly medium when using boiling water, or approximately 4 tablespoons when using hot tap water, with 2/3 cup of prepared water. Stir until thoroughly blended.

The finished mixture should be thin enough to flatten out when the container is gently tapped on a table. Add additional water or medium as needed to achieve the proper consistency.

Allow the mixture to cool completely before adding fruit flies. Add flies and maintain the culture at approximately 75°F (24°C).

Under suitable conditions, cultures should begin producing:

• Larvae: approximately 5–15 days
• Adult flies: approximately 10–30 days

Development time will vary depending on temperature and fruit fly species.
