The combination of moisture-retaining coco fiber and chunky coconut husk provides excellent humidity retention while creating a loose, natural texture throughout the enclosure. The larger husk pieces add structure and aeration, making this blend an excellent choice for tropical terrariums and bio-active setups.
Supplied as a convenient 10 lb compressed block, the substrate expands significantly when hydrated, providing a large volume of usable bedding for bigger enclosures or multiple terrariums.

Directions
Place the compressed block in a large container and gradually add water. Allow the substrate to absorb the water and expand. Break apart and thoroughly mix the coco fiber and husk chunks before placing it in the enclosure.
Adjust the amount of water according to the humidity and substrate requirements of the species being kept.
