Mopani is commonly used by aquarium hobbyists because of it's exotic combination of bright reds and browns. Because of it's density and heavy weight it sinks very easily.
Mopani is very resistant to water and decomposition in general. It does not rot very easily making it ideal for not only aquariums but also vivarium's, bioactive setups with high moisture and heat and terrariums.
All mopani comes pre heated treated and is terrarium safe. No bacteria or small insects on or inside the wood.
