The Fluval Hang-On Breeding Box provides a convenient isolated area for protecting newborn fry, injured or weak fish, and newly introduced fish requiring acclimation.

Designed to hang on the outside of the aquarium, the breeding box saves valuable space inside the tank while making it easy to observe and care for fish. Aquarium water continuously circulates through the box, allowing fish to remain in the same conditioned water as the main aquarium.

The Fluval Breeding Box can be used as a hatchery and incubator for newborn fry, helping protect them from being eaten by larger fish. It can also provide temporary isolation for sick, injured or weak fish or serve as an acclimation chamber for new aquarium inhabitants.

Because the breeding box uses water directly from the aquarium, no separate heater or filter is required under normal use.
