Cryptanthus Bivittatus is a member of the Bromeliaceae family of tropical plants. It has many common names such as starfish plant, earth star and Red Star Bromeliad.
The bromeliad is a plant commonly grown in terrariums.
This pretty bromeliad is native to Brazil and has a lovely star like shape made of stemless rosettes of leaves. It is fairly easy to grow as long as you remember a few tips.
