Description
Laguna PowerHeat Pond De-Icer – 500 Watt
Help maintain an open area on your pond's surface during freezing winter weather with the Laguna PowerHeat 500W Pond De-Icer.
Designed to keep a portion of the pond surface free of ice, the PowerHeat allows gases produced by fish respiration and decomposing organic material to escape while allowing oxygen exchange at the water's surface.
The durable stainless steel construction provides excellent impact resistance, while dual-zone integrated thermostats help manage heat distribution and efficient operation during cold weather.

The Laguna PowerHeat De-Icer is designed to maintain an opening in the ice rather than heat the entire pond. Maintaining an open surface area supports gas exchange during periods when the remainder of the pond may be covered with ice.
Always install and operate the de-icer according to Laguna's instructions and use a properly protected outdoor electrical connection.
