Zoo Med Forest Floor™ is a premium terrarium substrate made from 100% natural cypress mulch. It creates an attractive, natural “forest floor” appearance while retaining moisture to help maintain beneficial humidity levels within the enclosure.
Forest Floor is an excellent substrate for snakes, amphibians and tropical species of tortoise, as well as other reptiles that benefit from a moisture-retentive environment. Its natural composition also makes it suitable for live plants and egg incubation.

Cleaning & Replacement
Spot clean the substrate regularly to remove waste and soiled material. Forest Floor Bedding should be completely removed and replaced at least every 6 months, or sooner if a foul odour persists.
