Zoo Med Eco Earth Loose Coconut Fiber Substrate is a natural, eco-friendly bedding made from coconut husk fibre. It is ideal for creating naturalistic habitats for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
Eco Earth can be used damp for tropical and high-humidity species, where its excellent moisture retention helps maintain terrarium humidity. The coconut fibre also naturally absorbs and helps break down odours and waste products.
For planted and bioactive terrariums, Eco Earth can be placed over Zoo Med HydroBalls to create a natural substrate system with improved drainage, humidity and conditions for healthy plant growth.
