The Exo Terra BioDrain Terrarium Draining Mesh is designed to separate the drainage layer from the decorative substrate in tropical, planted and bioactive terrariums.

Placed over a layer of Exo Terra BioDrain, the fine mesh allows excess water to pass into the drainage layer while helping prevent soil, coconut fiber and other substrates from mixing with the drainage material.

Creating a proper drainage layer helps prevent the upper substrate from becoming overly saturated and is especially useful in tropical terrariums, paludariums and bioactive enclosures where regular misting and higher humidity levels are required.
