Description

DETAILS:

Invertebrates, such as roaches, do not contain sufficient amounts of calcium to satisfy your reptile's needs. Over time, a calcium deficiency can lead to poor bone growth. This is why it is important to offer your pet reptile roaches that have been fed ("gut-loaded") a nutritionally rich diet. Gut-loading feeder roaches prior to offering as prey ensures appropriate calcium levels are passed along to the reptile and allows pets to benefit from both the nutritional value of the roach itself and the insect's nutrient-rich gut content. Our premium veterinarian-formulated roach diet is specifically designed for this purpose and has been clinically proven to establish a positive calcium-to-phosphorus ratio in live roaches when fed as directed. Both minerals are important for the health and well-being of your pet, but it is vitally important to maintain a significantly higher calcium than phosphorus intake to prevent bone issues.

GUIDELINES:

Feed as the primary source of food to roaches. Offer fresh food daily. To ensure optimal nutrition and calcium intake, let your roaches feed on the diet for 24 hours before to offering to your pet.

NOTE: We advise against keeping sliced potatoes or other sources of moisture in the roach container during gut-loading as the potato is primarily a low-nutrition water source that could inhibit the roaches' appetite.

If keeping your roaches longer than one week, you may offer them Fluker's Cricket Quencher twice a week. Cricket Quencher provides the roaches a sufficient source of moisture without the risk of them drowning in a water bowl.

Wash hands after use. Store in a cool, dry place.
