Like all Armadillidium vulgare, these fascinating "roly-polies" roll into a tight ball when disturbed, making them one of the most recognizable and enjoyable isopods to observe. They are hardy, easy to care for, and make an excellent addition to bioactive terrariums or dedicated isopod cultures.

Care Requirements
- Temperature: 20–26°C (68–79°F)
- Moderate humidity with a moist area and a drier area
- Leaf litter, cork bark, and decaying hardwood
