Live Wax Worms – Feeder Insects & Fishing Bait
Wax Worms are soft-bodied, thin-skinned live feeder insects that make an irresistible treat for many reptiles, amphibians, birds and other insect-eating animals.
Naturally high in fat and energy, Wax Worms are especially palatable and can be useful as an occasional high-calorie feeder. Their soft bodies make them easy for many animals to consume, including picky or reluctant eaters.
Because of their higher fat content, Wax Worms are best offered as a treat or supplemental feeder as part of a varied, species-appropriate diet rather than as an everyday staple.
Great Live Fishing Bait
Wax Worms aren't just for pets! They're also a popular live fishing bait for a variety of freshwater fish and are particularly well suited for ice fishing.
