CaribSea Geo-Marine Florida Crushed Coral is a natural aragonite-based aquarium substrate that provides attractive colour, texture and natural buffering for marine, reef and other aquariums requiring a higher, more stable pH.

Despite the traditional "crushed coral" name, this is a naturally occurring material that is screened to size, rather than mechanically crushed. Its coarse texture creates an attractive natural-looking substrate while providing opportunities for suitable burrowing fish and invertebrates to dig and create shelters.

The aragonite content provides substantial natural buffering capacity, helping support the alkaline conditions required by many marine aquarium inhabitants.
