Heating

Leopard geckos require a temperature gradient so they can move between warmer and cooler areas of their habitat.

The included Exo Terra Heat Mat can be positioned to warm approximately one-third of the terrarium floor. Always monitor temperatures with appropriate thermometers and regulate heating equipment as necessary.

Additional heating equipment may be required depending on room temperature and environmental conditions.

Feeding

Leopard geckos are insectivores and should be offered appropriately sized feeder insects as part of a varied diet.

Calcium and vitamin/mineral supplementation should be provided according to the animal's age, diet and husbandry requirements.

Water

Provide access to fresh, clean drinking water at all times using the included medium water dish. Clean and replenish the water dish regularly.

Important

This kit provides an excellent foundation for a leopard gecko habitat. Additional equipment, hides, supplements and décor may be required to create a complete setup based on the individual animal's needs.
