Tropican High Performance Sticks provide complete, balanced nutrition specifically formulated for parrots with higher protein and energy requirements, including growing, breeding, molting and highly active birds.
With 22% protein and 11% fat, this nutrient-dense formula is ideal for young, weaning and fledgling parrots, breeding birds, birds housed in flighted aviaries, and parrots transitioning from a seed-based diet. Because Tropican is fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, additional vitamin supplementation is generally not required when fed as a complete diet.
Tropican High Performance combines 8 grains and nuts with natural orange and banana flavours for excellent palatability. Flaxseed, peanuts and sunflower seeds provide beneficial Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids to help support healthy skin, brilliant plumage and overall condition.
The firm, completely edible sticks are easy for parrots to hold while eating. Their texture encourages natural feeding behaviour and provides additional beak activity.
Recommended for Amazons, Macaws, Cockatoos and other parrots that prefer a larger morsel measuring approximately 0.25 × 0.75 in.
