Fluval AC20 Power Filter – 5–20 Gallon Aquarium Filter

Fluval AC20 Power Filter – 5–20 US Gallons

The Fluval AC20 Power Filter delivers efficient multi-stage filtration for freshwater and saltwater aquariums from 5 to 20 US gallons (18–76 L).

Part of Fluval's updated AC Series, the AC20 combines 4-stage filtration, adjustable flow and a patented refiltration system with an easy-to-maintain media basket. Mechanical, chemical and biological filtration work together to help remove debris, impurities and aquarium waste while supporting beneficial bacteria.

The redesigned rotor and sound-dampening construction help provide smooth, quiet operation, making the AC20 an excellent choice for smaller aquariums.

4-Stage Filtration

Mechanical Filtration
Two mechanical filtration stages help capture debris and suspended particles from the aquarium water.

Chemical Filtration
Chemical filter media helps remove dissolved impurities and unwanted compounds.

Biological Filtration
High-surface-area biological media provides a home for beneficial bacteria that support the aquarium nitrogen cycle.

CycleGuard

Fluval's CycleGuard system keeps the filtration stages separate, allowing individual media to be serviced or replaced without changing all of the filter media at once. This helps preserve established beneficial bacteria during routine maintenance.
